We’re launching a new monthly Zoom hangout, where you can connect with other Octocon members. As well as a general social space, we plan to host breakout rooms for writers and crafters, and will have a featured event each month such as a workshop, fan chat or talk. The hangout will be restricted to members of the current Octocon, plus 2025 members.
Our first Octocon Hangout will be next Sunday 8th March from 7:30pm to 9pm.
As it’s our first one, we’re going to focus on Octocon itself – we’d love you to come and chat if you can help out with the planning and organisation of this year’s convention!

We plan to have the first of our Octocon Presents events at the end of March, and more info on that will follow soon. We also hope to hold in-person meetups in the Dublin area during the year.
