Octocon 2026 Venue
Clayton Hotel Cork City and Online
Saturday 3rd October – Sunday 4th October, 2026

Where is the Octocon 2026 Venue?
On the weekend of 3rd and 4th of October 2026, we’re heading to the Clayton Hotel Cork City, centrally located on Lapp’s Quay and convenient for public transport. We will also continue our tradition of holding Octocon both in-person and online – both days!

Once again, the wonderful Jog Brogzin has designed a map for Octocon!

We also have a 2D map of the Octocon 2026 venue.

Public transport
By train
Iarnród Éireann / Irish Rail operates regular InterCity services from Dublin Heuston Station (past Limerick Junction, Portlaoise, Thurles, and Mallow) to Cork Kent Station, located 850 meters (about 12 minute walk) from the Clayton Hotel.
Important Note
Due to Engineering Works between Limerick Junction and Charleville on Saturday 3rd October, some railway services are cancelled or amended. These include services from and to Dublin Heuston, Limerick Junction, and Mallow, as well as Cobh and Midleton commuters.
Bus transfers between stations will be available, but we understand that in these cases, all seating selections are usually cancelled for the day. If travelling on the Saturday, we advise our members to get there early to find a seat.
