{"id":3603,"date":"2024-08-30T23:38:11","date_gmt":"2024-08-30T22:38:11","guid":{"rendered":".\/\/?p=3603"},"modified":"2024-10-02T17:15:47","modified_gmt":"2024-10-02T16:15:47","slug":"moira-fowley-in-person-guest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":".\/\/moira-fowley-in-person-guest\/","title":{"rendered":"Mo\u00efra Fowley \u2013 In-Person Guest \u2013 No Longer Able to Attend"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>UPDATE 28 Sept 2024: Sadly, we must announce that Mo\u00efra Fowley is no longer able to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mo\u00efra Fowley is an author, artist and tarot reader who lives in Dublin with two children, one black cat, and the few plants they can keep alive.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mo\u00efra is the author of three critically acclaimed YA novels which have been translated into ten languages, shortlisted for the Waterstones Children\u2019s Book Prize, the Irish Book Awards, and the Children\u2019s Books Ireland Awards, as well as being nominated for the Carnegie Medal and winning the School Library Association of Ireland Great Reads Award.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mo\u00efra\u2019s first book for adults, Eyes Guts Throat Bones, a collection of short stories about (queer, female) bodies and the end of the world, was published by W&amp;N\/Orion in 2023.
