An avid fan of Horror and Science Fiction from an early age, with dabblings in writing short stories as a teenager, Derek Gunn began writing again in earnest, in 2001. Derek's fantastic debut novel, Vampire Apocalypse: A World Torn Asunder, has been optioned and is due to start shooting this year.
The second in the series, Descent into Chaos, was released in 2008.
Like everyone should be, we're always excited to see more of his work and with a plan to release one novel a year, we needed to invite him back to Octocon to get more of our fix!
